Do you have time to spare and share as a trustee to benefit the ongoing future of this amazing charity which has been benefitting people in Swindon for 23 years.
TWIGS and the Olive Tree Café were both established to give people who experience mental health problems opportunities to regain confidence and self-esteem and learn new skills through a wide range of gardening and craft activities, alongside developing some specific skills in the day to day running of a very busy café. Taking steps towards recovery, making new friends, moving into further education or employment.
We want people who can work closely with our existing trustees and who have skills and experience which could include HR knowledge, finance, management. In particular, we are looking for someone with professional experience in the field of mental health, and who would be prepared to work with us in continuing to maintain and develop these two busy, and very successful projects.
