Do you have time to spare and share as a trustee to benefit the ongoing future of this amazing charity, which has been benefitting people in Swindon for 28 years?
TWIGS was established to give people who experience mental health problems opportunities to regain confidence and self-esteem and learn new skills through a wide range of gardening and craft activities. Taking steps towards recovery, making new friends, and moving into further education or employment.
We want people who can work closely with our existing trustees and who have skills and experience, which could include HR knowledge, finance, and management. In particular, we are looking for someone with professional experience in the field of mental health, and who would be prepared to work with us in continuing to maintain and develop our very successful project.
If this is something you would be interested in, do contact our chair of trustees, Dick Millard, who will be happy to meet with you.
